The Digital Campaign

The Digital Campaign was a two-part PBS NewsHour and FRONTLINE special about the data-mining worlds inside the presidential campaigns of Barak Obama and Mitt Romney. As a co-producer and reporter, Catherine reported and produced the stories and helped produce a related online interactive called “Targeting the Electorate.” This was nominated for New Approaches: Current News Coverage at the News and Documentary Emmy Awards and was part of a package that won the Online News Association Award for Innovative Investigative Journalism.
